Get Help

If Your Child Is Sick, We Want to Help.

If your child is actively receiving treatment in the oncology department at a participating hospital, that's all you need to qualify.

Olivia Perrotto
Who We Serve

Simple criteria. No fine print.

If your child is sick, you qualify.
We will not ask you to prove your income.

Liv's Stargrace Foundation serves families with children actively receiving treatment in the oncology department at participating hospitals. That's the requirement. That's the whole list.

We made it that way on purpose. When Olivia was fighting her cancer, her family was turned away from nearly every financial assistance program they applied to — not because they didn't need help, but because of their income. Rebecca has never forgotten what that felt like.

How It Works

Three steps. Under a week. No income test.

We designed this process to be as simple as possible — because you have enough to carry. You apply directly, and we handle the rest.

1

Apply Right Here

Fill out a short application on this page — you can do it yourself, in a few minutes, from your phone. We'll ask for your contact information and a little about your situation. With your consent, we will reach out to your child's social worker or case manager only to verify treatment, never to add to your plate.

2

We Review It

Our turnaround target is under one week. No income verification. No committee that meets once a month. Just a real decision, made quickly, by people who know what it means to be in your position.

3

Help Arrives

Emergency grants are disbursed. We reach out to confirm receipt and follow up — because we want to know it actually helped.

Turnaround target: under one week from application to decision. For urgent situations, please note the urgency level in your application.

For Families

Apply for support.

You don't need your social worker to start this for you. Fill out the application below yourself — it takes about ten minutes, and there's no income test: financial questions help us understand your family, but they never affect our decision.

We'll review every application and respond within 3–5 business days with a decision and next steps.

Common questions about getting help

Who qualifies for help?

Any US-based family with a child under 18 actively being treated in the oncology department at Geisinger or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Do I need a hospital social worker to apply?

Yes. After your application is submitted, we will reach out to your hospital social worker to verify active treatment status.

What kind of help can we receive?

Emergency Family Grants of up to $1,000 toward travel to treatment centers, housing near the hospital, groceries, and lost wages; and one-time Funeral Expense Assistance for families who have lost a child to pediatric cancer.

Is there an income requirement or financial verification?

No. There is no income test and no financial verification of any kind. We will never ask you to prove your finances to receive help.

How long until we hear back?

Our turnaround target is under one week. We know families reaching out to us are often in the middle of a crisis, and we move as quickly as we can.

How much does it cost to apply?

Nothing. Applying is completely free, and there is no obligation.

Not sure if you qualify?

If your child is actively treated in the oncology department at Geisinger or CHOP in the United States and is under eighteen, you very likely qualify. There is no income test and no financial verification. If you have questions before you apply, you're welcome to reach out to us directly through our contact page. We'll answer honestly.

For donors

Are you here to help, not to receive help?

We're glad you're here too. Your donation is what makes this possible.
