How It Works

How can I donate from my DAF to Liv's Stargrace Foundation?

  1. Open the DAF granting tool

Use the secure form above to begin recommending a grant to Liv's Stargrace Foundation.

  2. Find your fund sponsor

Search for your DAF provider — Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust, and most major sponsors are supported.

  3. Choose your grant amount

Enter how much you'd like to recommend granting to the foundation from your fund.

  4. Confirm and submit your recommendation

Review the details and submit. Your fund sponsor processes the grant on your behalf.

  5. Your grant reaches the mission

Once approved by your sponsor, the grant is delivered to Liv's Stargrace Foundation and put straight to work.

Grant approval and delivery timelines are set by your DAF sponsor. Our EIN is available upon request if your provider needs it.

Why a DAF

Why does Liv's Stargrace Foundation accept DAF grants?

Donor-advised funds are one of the simplest, most tax-smart ways to give — and a wonderful way to direct money you've already committed to charity toward Olivia's mission.

Tax benefits already secured

You claimed your charitable deduction when you funded your DAF, so recommending a grant is simple and paperwork-free for you.

Streamlined giving

No checks, no wires. Recommend a grant in a few clicks and your fund sponsor handles the rest.

Long-term impact

DAF grants let you give meaningfully today and plan future support for the foundation over time.

Values-aligned giving

Direct your charitable dollars to a mission you believe in — care, opportunity, and faith for kids facing cancer.

Easy year-end giving

Recommend a grant whenever you're ready, making DAFs an effortless way to give before the year closes.

Donor-advised fund FAQs

What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving account you fund in advance — receiving an immediate tax deduction — and then use to recommend grants to the nonprofits you care about over time. Major sponsors include Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and National Philanthropic Trust.

Are DAF donations tax-deductible?

You generally receive your tax deduction at the time you contribute to your donor-advised fund, not when you recommend a grant — so a grant to Liv's Stargrace Foundation is not separately deductible. Liv's Stargrace Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-2375208) and is eligible to receive DAF grants. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

Which DAF sponsors can I give through?

Most major donor-advised fund sponsors are supported through The Giving Block, including Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust, and many community foundations. You'll select yours inside the donation form.

Are DAF donations refundable?

No. All DAF grants made via The Giving Block are final and non-refundable once processed by your fund sponsor.

I need assistance with my donation. How can I get in touch?

We're a small, family-led foundation and we're happy to help. Reach out and a real person will get back to you.
